Riesling Grand Cru Zotzenberg

Le riesling est le cépage de la gastronomie par excellence, notre Riesling Grand Cru Zotzenberg séduit pas sa puissance et sa minéralité.

VINOUS : 95 POINTS

"The 2022 Riesling Zotzenberg Grand Cru is pale and shy on the nose, offering only a touch of Reine Claude framed with citrus. The soils are heavy and retain water. Notions of moss and citrus play on the fresh nose. The palate brings that same cool freshness, a clarity that seems like a cool mountain spring, light, flowing, barely-there, tingling with brightness. It's lovely, clear, bright and spring-like."

VINOUS : 93 POINTS MILLESIME 2021

"The merest hint of crushed citrus leaf is alluring on the nose. The palate is slender but has that richer Alsace texture, lending body to these wonderfully bright, excellent citrus aromatics. Crushed stone plays alongside the zesty notions of lemon and finishes with a beautiful brightness. The long citrus zest finish leaves you in no doubt about the concentration. Streamlined, mouth-watering, long and statuesque."

Wine Enthusiast MILLESIME 2018 : 94 points MILLESIME 2021

"Gentle, ripe zestiness reminiscent of ripe lemon and dried peel pervades this wine's nose. The concentrated palate also has a zesty, mouthwatering nature that channels the warmth and ripeness of 2018 well, imbuing it with vivid freshness, poise and length. It is the lemon purity on the clean finish that gets you."

Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 MILLESIME 2016 : 92 points

"Notes de sureau et de fleurs séchées dans le Riesling Zotzenberg, dont les fins amers cheminent le long d'une trame salivante aux accents arériens et salins."

Wine Enthusiast MILLESIME 2016 : 95 points

"Crisp but tart yellow apple and ripe Amalfi lemon appear on the nose with their lifted, urgent freshness. The palate sticks to this vivid lemony theme while also revealing another dimension of generous juiciness. The palate is streamlined, vivid, dry concentrated and taut, but always with that inkling of more ripeness amidst the lemony zing. Lovely now, certain to evolve. Drink now through 2030."
