Riesling Brandluft

Produit phare de notre Domaine, la première cuvée de notre Riesling Brandluft date de 1905.


C'est notre arrière grand-père Emile qui revendique le premier le nom cadastral Brandluft.


Ce Riesling plaît beaucoup pour son bel équilibre et sa minéralité.

"The 2023 Riesling Brandluft is from Muschelkalk soils with sandy elements and has been cultivated by the Boeckel family for at least 120 years. Based on averaging 35-year-old vines planted at high density (6,800 vines per hectare), the wine offers an elegant bouquet of white fruits intermingled with delicate limestone notes. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense, juicy, well structured and powerful Riesling that is rich and elegant and already drinks perfectly well. There are fine tannins on the finish, which makes this an excellent gastronomic dry Riesling."

"The 2022 Riesling Brandluft was harvested west of Mittelbergheim on a mixed Triassic lime- and sandstone site. The wine was fermented and aged in foudre for ten months. A touch of smoky reduction precedes ripe pear notes scented with tangerine peel. The palate is smooth and ripe with Mirabelle juiciness, flowing with concentrated and pure fruit edged with more of that tangerine peel. The 2022 is precise, stony, fresh and tingling with ripe, aromatic citrus. A joy."
