"The 2021 Pinot Blanc Truttenhausen Non Filtré is from an elevated site of sacred and pagan significance on both granitic and sandstone soils where orchards, churches and market gardens mix with vineyards. The name derives from the term druid. Made from 50% Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois each, this is the Boeckels' natural wine, fermented in stainless steel without adding sulfites. The wine is cloudy and has white pepper and green pear flesh notions. There is nothing funky here, just pristine, bright, bone-dry joy. A beautifully fresh, clean, no-nonsense wine that cleans that palate."
